Randall Taylor
Seismic Geophysist
Mr Randall Taylor was leading Origin Energy’s Geophysics Department for over a decade.
He has been the primary lead in new field discoveries in the Otway, Bass and Eromanga Basins and has in depth knowledge of Seismic Interpretation, Processing QC, Rock Physics, Prospect and Play assessment and Survey Design.
Deep experience gained from various roles with Origin, Santos and CSR.
With a strong emphasis on technical rigor and adoption of new technology with regular published case study examples. Randall embraces technology such as AVO, Inversion, Rock Physics and HTI Anisotropic seismic processing.
Jon Benesche
Drilling Engineer
Winner of the SPE Engineering Award of Excellence in 2022 and with 36 years at Exxon as a Drilling Engineer.
Jon’s experience in all aspects of drilling, completions and well testing engineering, operations and venture management, utilizing every type of onshore and offshore drilling unit, in many countries including Moscow, Qatar and Indonesia.
Jon has been involved in multiple drilling projects addressing all major downhole, environmental and logistical challenges, high pressure, sour gas, extended reach, horizontal, and arctic operations on many of Exxon’s most critical wells worldwide, including some of the most remote and diverse onshore and offshore locations within Industry.
Jacinto Soares
Senior Geologist
Jacinto Soares is a seasoned oil and gas professional having worked for Eni Australia, resource companies and lectured at University in geoscience.
He is a graduate of the University of Western Australia with a Master’s degree in Geosciences. Jacinto is experienced in reservoir modelling, managing Geological teams for field surveys and mapping petroleum systems onshore Timor.
Ross Prasser
Completions Engineer
Mr Ross Prasser is a highly experienced Petroleum Engineer with 45 years oil and gas industry experience – primarily in reservoir engineering, drilling and completions engineering, well testing and production operations, including offshore exploration and development.
He began his career with Exxon in Australia and Malaysia and since then has worked throughout SE Asia and South America, primarily as an independent consultant.
Dr. Simon Molyneux
Chief Operating Officer & Subsurface Team Leader
Amalgamating over 23 years of executive and senior management experience acquired during his time at Santos, Talisman Energy and Shell, Simon takes pride in pragmatically delivering value.
Starting his career as a geoscientist he has led operational, management and advisory activity in Asia, Australia, Europe and the Americas.
Hong Feng Wu
Petroleum Engineering

Hong Feng brings over 24 years of Petroleum Engineering experience, where he has consistently applied his unique process and passion for achieving elevated results in global companies like Shell, BP and CNOOC.
He was Shell’s lead Reservoir Engineer for Prelude and Auriga in the Browse basin, Australia and the Champion and Champion West fields in Brunei.
