Suellen

Suellen Osborne

CEO

Mrs Suellen Osborne is the founder of Timor Resources and the Managing Director. Her integrity, focus and determination have seen the project progress through early stage frontier challenges.

Suellen’s experience is in equity joint ventures, large scale resource project management, infrastructure development, construction and multi disciplinary project management.

 Suellen serves as a director on the board of Directors of NEPEAN Group, Victoria Park Investments, and OilCorp.

Kerri Tanner

CFO

Mrs Kerri Tanner is a Chartered Accountant and a registered Australian Tax Agent. A highly experienced accounting executive, with 30 years of experience in various tax and financial accounting roles across several sectors.

At Timor Resources Kerri is responsible for financial and management reporting, tax, and company secretary functions. Kerri has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Tax from The University of Melbourne.

Skilled in Financial Reporting, Lateral Thinking, Leadership, and Tax Planning, Kerri has led the accounting department of Timor Resources since February 2020.

Country Manager/ Non-Executive Director

Mr Filomeno DeAndrade has extensive international experience of over 40 years in engineering, management and environment roles. 

Filomeno is the former President of the Timorese Australian Council, former Vice President of Timorese Council in Portugal, former Head of Infrastructure, United Nations Transitional Administration of East Timor responsible for public infrastructure and former Representative of the Cabinet Member for Infrastructure. 

Filomeno was born in Timor-Leste. Filomeno has represented Timor Resources in Timor-Leste since 2016, living and working in the contract area.

Charles-Brown Non-Executive Director

Charles Brown

Non-Executive Director

Charles Brown is the Chairman of Lake House Corporation Hong Kong, an advisory firm with $1 billion under management and Founder of Australia Ltd and Lake House.

He is chairman emeritus of the UN Peace Development Foundation in China.

Charles has degrees in Architecture and Law from Cambridge University.

Luis-Pereira Operations Manager

Luis Pereira

Operations Manager

Mr Luis Pereira, Operations leader, with strong technical and managerial experience in the oil and gas industry. He successfully designed and planned the Greater Western Flank 2 field (8 wells) in Western Australia from screening phase to a detailed design phase.  

He designed and delivered the multilateral Vincent phase 3 (3 multilateral wells) aspects in drilling engineering Western Australia. He is a team focused expert who can manage complex contracts, labourers and large teams. 

Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. Luis managed the seismic contract in Timor-Leste with 550 workers, on time and on budget.

Jan Hulse - General Manager Exploration

General Manager Exploration

Jan Hulse is a highly experienced geologist with 30 years’ experience in reservoir management, petroleum field development and geophysics.

Jan has been a leader on exploration teams for numerous petroleum companies including time with Santos 1997-2003, BP Australia PNG and MIM Petroleum in PNG. BSc, Geology/Mathematics, 1981 – 1985 from the Australian National University. Jan has led the geological teams at Timor Resources since early 2017.

Kieran-Ryan Exploration Manager

Exploration Manager

Kieran Ryan has 20 years of experience within the petroleum industry, Extensive management experienced in all phases of the exploration process, including prospect generation, risk and portfolio optimization and project management. 

Kieran has deep SE Asian exploration experience in PNG with Total Energies, Santos, Maersk Oil and BHP Billiton.

Jon-Benesche Drilling Engineer

Jon Benesche

Drilling Engineer

Mr Jon Benesche worked at Exxon for more than 36 years.  Jon’s experience in all aspects of drilling, completions and well testing engineering, operations and venture management, utilizing every type of onshore and offshore drilling unit, in many countries including Moscow, Qatar and Indonesia. 

Jon has been involved in multiple drilling projects addressing all major downhole, environmental and logistical challenges, high pressure, sour gas, extended reach, horizontal, and arctic operations on many of Exxon’s most critical wells worldwide, including some of the most remote and diverse onshore and offshore locations within Industry.

Randall-Taylor Senior Geophysicist

Randall Taylor

Senior Geophysicist

Mr Randall Taylor was leading Origin Energy’s Geophysics Department for over a decade. He has been the primary lead in new field discoveries in the Otway, Bass and Eromanga Basins and has in depth knowledge of Seismic Interpretation, Processing QC, Rock Physics, Prospect and Play assessment and Survey Design. 

Deep experience gained from various roles with Origin, Santos and CSR.With a strong emphasis on technical rigor and adoption of new technology with regular published case study examples. Randall embraces technology such as AVO, Inversion, Rock Physics and HTI Anisotropic seismic processing.

Rob Willink

Geological Advisor

Dr Rob Willink is a highly experienced geologist who started his career at Shell.  He obtained a PHD in geology from ANU. Rob led the Boral/Origin Energy Exploration teams from 1994-2012 participating in oil and gas discoveries in the Bass, Otway, Perth and Surat Basins. He was a Director of OCA, the company that first positioned Origin in coal seam gas, from 1995 to 2002. Post 2005, Origin’s exploration activities expanded internationally into SE Asia, Africa and New Zealand. Retiring in 2012 from Origin, Rob served as an advisor to Central Petroleum Ltd.

Jacinto Soares

Senior Geologist

Jacinto Soares is a seasoned oil and gas professional having worked for Eni Australia, resource companies and lectured at University in geoscience. 

He is a graduate of the University of Western Australia with a Master’s degree in Geosciences.  

Jacinto is experienced in reservoir modelling, managing Geological teams for field surveys and mapping petroleum systems onshore Timor.

Ana Belo

Geophysicist

Ana Belo is a graduate from University of New South Wales with an honours degree in Petroleum Engineering. 

Ana worked in Timor Leste under the National Petroleum and Mineral’s Authority (ANPM) in a team focused on the Exploration and Acreage release onshore and offshore Timor-Leste, as well as prospecting activities and geological and geophysical survey data, including Integrated Airborne Gravity.
